It has come to our knowledge that
Pope Francis plans to visit the affected areas of Typhoon Yolanda. Read the news HERE.
On Wednesday (January 29), a
Philippine archbishop announced the possibility of a visit from Pope Francis –
a gesture that would be well-received by the nation’s more than one million
Catholics.
“The Holy Father might just
come,” Archbishop John Du, who is based on the Super Typhoon Haiyan
(Yolanda)-ravaged island of Leyte, told The Inquirer. “There is a plan but
there is no calendar yet [for this possible visit]. But we are praying for it.”
This is such a blessing and good
news to many of us especially to our brothers and sisters whose lives have been
greatly affected and changed by the incident. Being victims and survivors, they
all need extra, special love, care, understanding, support, and of course, prayers.
And since Pope Francis has plans
of visiting Leyte, hubby and I will also come there not just to pass the good
deeds on but to also experience the blessings the Pope has to give. With much excitement and joy, we will see to it that this one in a million experience would give us not just pride and honor but also the blessings and grace of God through our dearest Pope. And yes, we would continue becoming a blessing and an inspiration to many lives. After all
Be blessed and be a blessing!
With prayers,
Daddy Ren and Mommy Mai
