Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your daughter, Stella, whom You have called from this life. Give her eternal rest as You let her pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard her from all harm; and on that great day of resurrection and reward, raise her up with all Your saints. In Your mercy and love, forgive whatever sins she may have committed and grant her eternal life in Your kingdom.

Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, You willingly gave up Yourself to death so that all people might be saved and pass from death into a new life. Listen to our prayers; look with love on Your people who mourn and pray for Stella. Lord Jesus, You alone are holy and compassionate; forgive her sins. By dying, You opened the gates of life for those who believe in You; may Your perpetual light shine upon her. Receive her soul and bestow her to God, the Most High. The Pain of Declining Job Offers and Opportunities

It was really hard to say no to job offers and other opportunities to gain professional growth and have a more stable career.

It was really a very difficult decision to make and thinking about these things could even make you not sleep well or in my case, I got terribly sick.

If only I have a nanny who could stay with us at home, Monday to Saturday and I already have Eiea in my tummy, I might as well say "YES" to any of this job offers.

It was painful and with much regret, I had to say "NO" to all of them.

Matel, thanks for making your life and the lives of so many so beautiful in many different ways. You may not be aware of it but you have been an inspiration to all of us.

We may not tell you often how much love we have for you or how special you are to us, but we are always hopeful that you somehow felt the love and care that you deserve. You are so dear and so special to us. And now that you’re gone, we strongly believe that there is another “lifetime” waiting for all of us.

Like what Mami Ave posted in her FB wall, we all wish we were you everyday… funny, loving, kind and so selfless. And this is very true… we really wish we could. With all sincerity and humility, you can do little miracles to someone’s life… sometimes without even saying a word or doing anything. For us, your presence is heaven sent that it can make things so possible. Thanks for being His instrument.

Tonight, we bid goodbye and celebrate your beautiful life. We, your Keating Family, have lots of wonderful memories with you. In our hearts, you, our dearest Matel, will always live on and will truly be with us forever. Yes, you will surely be missed. We will miss you, your sincere smiles, your unique laughs and most of all, your genuine friendship.

It is so true that “Keatings” will never be the same without you. And despite all these tears, we’d like you to know that we are still happy and thankful… for you are now Home with Him.
