News Cafe at Ramada Central - Breakfast Buffet

Hubby and I love foods; we love buffet and so we tried the breakfast buffet at News Cafe in Ramada Hotel in Binondo, Manila.

We got in the hotel around 9:30 a.m. after visiting and having our intentions said at Binondo Church - Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo Ruiz. Everybody at the hotel seemed to be so nice and courteous - from the security personnel, receptionists, News Cafe staff and many others.

Hubby started his plate and took his first bite - expressing his satisfaction of the foods taste, texture and variety. (I was so happy that hubby had a thumbs-up gesture for he was so difficult to please when it comes to buffets.) Meanwhile, I had to sip a cup of coffee first. I got my plate after my first cup and agreed that the food was great. 

Yes, we had a very great breakfast buffet experience though we thought that we'd be happier if we had our kiddo with us. We miss our Lil Eieo; he might enjoy the food, too.

We tried to get a little of everything and decided to indulge in every bite. And we didn't go wrong to really try it out. 

As of the moment, hubby and I really would recommend this and would pass the good news on. So my dear readers and fellow bloggers, you may consider visiting Ramada Manila Central, News Cafe and enjoy your dining experience, too. 

This is really a must-try! You'll love it. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Food/Taste - 4/5 (great dining experience)

Service - 5/5 (all were courteous and nice)

Ambiance - 4/5 (very relaxing and cozy but may be too crowded; space may be so limited for many guests)

The Sweetest Date with Hubby

Hubby and I have been together for more than a decade. And having a simple getaway with him knocks me off my feet. Our Palawan escapades were the best but this simple day out we had last Saturday, January 5, 2013 (our first ever date for 2013) just seemed to be the sweetest.

I knew it. Hubby is not into watching movies in theaters; he'd rather buy DVD's and have marathon with me, Eieo, other family members or even our friends.But this time, we again shared good foods, relaxing spa and body massages, great movie, and the sweetest - our 'holding hands' moments.

So simple but very sweet.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Our God and Almighty Father, we are gathered here today to bear witness and celebrate the heroism of our patriot, Dr. Jose Rizal. We thank you for giving us a noble hero who imparted us his wisdom and courageous accomplishments to awaken our forefathers’ nationalism.

Like Rizal, help us to love our country more and commit ourselves to serve our fellowmen with all honesty, dedication and responsiveness. Guide our youths that they may adhere to the principles and values of our national hero. Lead us to the path of selflessness for us to become a man for others and a hero on our own simple ways.

Making My Marriage Last a Lifetime

Dad, Mom, Eieo and Eiea

I love him. He loves me. We've got love. But is that really enough? Love is so powerful that yes, it could move mountains. We have love and we're willing to stick together to keep this marriage alive, burning and kicking. We'll do whatever it takes - just to grow old together and to keep our vows of a lifetime commitment.

Yes, our isn't perfect and I know it won't ever be. But I know I am so blessed for having my hubby as he has loved me all his life though he isn't that expressive and showy about it. He has his own little ways of making me feel loved ; he has shown and taught me love differently. Now that I understand his language of love, I have been trying my best to read between the lines and appreciate all his actions and gestures towards me and our family. 

I have been married to my dearest hubby for more than six years now and yes, it has been a bumpy ride. We've got ups and downs (limited only to petty quarrels and misunderstandings) which I believe are just normal and part of discovering life and marriage. I am very thankful for not having big issues and problems with him (I just didn't know is he has on me, I hope none either). I am still very grateful to GOD for blessing me with a husband whose heart is as big and as good as what I have prayed for. 

We have differences; we've even have some gaps and misunderstanding at times but that could never be a reason to keep us apart and lose this great feeling, love. I could never imagine how life would be without him. I always pray to live a longer and happier life with him on my side as whenever I see our hands together, I feel overwhelmed, blessed and fulfilled. Holding hands - priceless. 

Having Eieo in our life has made our life better and a lot happier. And I think, when we finally have Eiea in God's time, life would be at its best, the happiest ever. Yes, love is enough to keep us together and make us stick to this lifetime commitment. 

And I'll make this marriage last forever. How? I'll do whatever it takes just to get pregnant again; we'll be working our way to have another blessing. With fingers crossed, we will have Eiea soon. I believe and I pray.
