I Want to Dance with My Lolo Leovy Again

I’ve never had a father. Thank GOD I have had my dear grandfather though. He raised, nurtured, loved and cared for me as if I were his own biological daughter… he is so loving, caring, thoughtful and giving. He gave me the appreciation, passion and affection that I need to be that someone GOD designs me to be. He made me feel loved and blessed; these things… only he could.

For more than 16 years ago before he met his Creator and went up to Heaven, he showed unconditional love and tender loving care not just to me but to most of the people he loved and cherished the most. I miss those days, those times and those years so much, my dearest granddad.

My dearest LOLO unbelievably makes us all laugh, feels relieved and happy, and let us experience the kind of life we all have dreamed of.

I miss him so much… each day that passes especially during the happiest and most rewarding moments of life as well as during those tough times and tests of faith. For I know that if he were only here with us, he’ll surely make us all feel a lot better.

If only I could meet and see you again, I’ll surely hug and kiss you. I won’t let that chance pass by without letting you know how much we love and miss you, how much we cared for you, how much gratitude and longing we have for you.

We pray that this truly happens… even in our dreams – mine, grandmom’s, mom’s as well as my aunt’s, uncle’s and fellow grandchildren. We’ll surely be so happy and fulfilled. Just one great hug, Lolo.

It is true that we lost your pictures, our photos of joyful moments with you and of great times together during the fire last May 7 of this year. Yet, forgetting your image and facial features would never happen for you are in our hearts then, now and forever.

We miss you so much, Lolo Leovy. How I wish my son meets you in person to smile at you, give you his big hug and throw you a loving kiss. But don’t you worry, Lolo, I’ll make sure he’ll know the best in you, the best granddad in the world.

If I could get another chance, another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
How I'd love, love, love
To dance with my grandfather again…

If I could steal one final glance, one final step,
one final dance with him
I'd play a song that would never, ever end
'Cause I'd love, love, love
To dance with my grandfather again…

I miss you, Lolo. I pray that these words and acts of love would reach heaven. Hope you see and feel how dear you are to me, to us. We love you so much. Thanks for always being our dearest angel.

Your loving granddaughter, Myraine

Things that We Do and Will Do

Things we haven’t done together

At home…
A duet and a sweet dance.
Midnight conversation over a cup of coffee.
Baking cakes, cookies or pastries.
Painting.
Beer drinking and BBQ eating.
And a lot more…

Outdoors…
Star gazing.
Playing a sport.
Arcade visit.
An adventurous, jam-packed and challenging recreational activity.
Bar hopping and hanging-out (just the two of us).
Scuba diving.
Camping.
Biking at the park.
Luxury Cruise.
Road trips.
So many things that we still have to do.

Things I enjoy doing whenever we’re together

Daytime…
Hearing the Holy Mass.
Serving youths and people.
Praying.
Online Chatting.
Dining at home with our loved ones, relatives and friends.

Walking hand-in-hand.
Hanging-out with common friends.
Strolling and Shopping.
Playing with Eieo.
Laughing with our Lil Prince.
Cooking.
Taking a Bath.
Eating a yummy and palatable meal.

Bedtime…

Pillow talks.
Getting intimate.
Flirting. Hahaha...
Hugging so tight.
Relaxing massage.
Sleeping and Dreaming.

For Rainier's Eyes Only...

My words for my sweetest HUBBY…

Te deseo.
Bésame.
Hazme el amor.

No puedo vivir sin ti. Nunca me he sentido así.
No puedo esperar a volver a hacerte el amor otra vez. Echo de menos todas esas noches. Hágamos el amor.

Eres el amor de mi vida.
Estoy enamorado de ti.
Me haces feliz.
Cada día te quiero más.
Te amo mucho, Mi amor!
Te quiero, dad!

So Many Things That We Have to be Thankful for

We have survived a test of faith (the fire incident); we are able to move on and continue to live life positively and to the fullest. This happens ALL because of HIM and HIS people.

Despite of what had happened, we are able to appreciate life, the people around us and all the blessings we have more than we used to. Despite that traumatic incident, we are able to overcome life’s struggles and challenges because of the love, inspiration, hope and strength we have inside.

These are the people and a lot of things that we are thankful for:

Our Heavenly Father, Almighty God.
Our Little Prince, Baby Eieo – Leo Antonio.
Our families and relatives – OUR loved ones.
Our closest, same circles of friends.
Our individual friends, colleagues, neighbors, and acquaintances.
Our brothers and sisters in Faith.
Our spiritual advisers and counselors.
Rev. Msgr. Eppie Castro (St. Francis of Assisi Parish).
Knights of Columbus Council 3941
Various concerned individuals and organizations in our Parish and community.
The firemen, volunteers and some politicians.
My dear Students in the University.
Our concerned clients and virtual friends.

The Bible and the Rosary.
Our Little Prayers.
Inspiring and Motivating Music.
Games and Sports.
Cellular phones.
Computer Unit and Laptop.
Internet Connection.

Foods and drinks, clothes and shelter.
Beautiful churches and recreational places.
Wonderful Planet Earth – the nature and the environment.

Love, Respect, Trust, Unity, and Knowledge.
Hope, Wisdom, Trust, Integrity, and Discernment.
A Challenging yet Fulfilling and Rewarding LIFE to enjoy.

Indeed, we sincerely and humbly thank each and every blessing we have. Thank You!

Say a Little Prayer

This short prayer shall be posted elsewhere on our new House, our Home Sweet Home. I will make sure it will be seen and be sincerely said at all times. Though we have so much Faith in Him and we believed that it was just a test of faith, I know that I cannot bear another fire incident in our family. May all OUR homes, including yours be protected from any traumatic incidents – God permits!

Prayer for Protection against Fire

Almighty and Eternal God, we ask Your protection against destroying fire. Fire is very necessary for our existence, and yet, when it gets out of control, it can be more damaging than anything else.

Keep our homes and buildings and woods and fields safe from this scourge. Help us always to be most careful in our use of it. Help us whenever we need and use it. For then, if our homes are destroyed by fire, we suffer more than ever.

Give us, too, we humbly pray to You, a saving fear of the fires of passion, and the help of Your grace to control them. Help us also to fear the fires of hell, that we may always keep away from serious sin, and live lives of goodness and virtue, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
