Must-try Filipino Style Buttered Garlic Shrimps Recipe - Thumbs Up!

Eieo, hubby and I are all certified foodies. Yes, we all love foods; we enjoy buffets and trying out new restaurants. And since "Labuyo" was here and there were suspensions of classes, we're all in here in our humble home. And as a treat to my two boys, I prepared my very own Filipino style buttered garlic shrimps and prawns for lunch.

Sharing my little masterpiece...

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
750 grams - shrimps/prawns
onion leeks/parsley, finely chopped
½ cup butter
5 tbsp garlic, minced
1 cup lemon soda (Royal, 7Up or Sprite will also do)
salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Procedure:
Marinade the shrimp in lemon soda for about 15-30 minutes.
Melt the butter in a pan and heat it up until hot enough to cook the garlic.
Add the garlic and cook until the color turns light to golden brown.
Put-in the shrimp and then cook until the color turns orange.
Pour-in the remaining lemon soda. Let the liquid evaporate completely.
Sprinkle the parsley.
Add some ground black pepper and salt as needed.

Serve hot. Share and enjoy!

We all loved it so much! Yum! Feeling so pampered, blessed and happy.

Mommy Mai
