Eieo's First Field Trip with JVCMSI Family

Happiness is a choice, a gift from God that we shall all savor and be thankful for. And seeing our unico hijo feel so happy makes the rewards of parenthood more special.

He always finds ways to enjoy his schooling and academic experiences with his friends, classmates, schoolmates and mentors.

Since I have already blogged about how hubby and I are both feeling blessed to finally find a good school for our kiddo (read my blog HERE… JVCMSI, our newly found ‘gem’), I intend to write something about his new experiences this time.

One of our child’s academic milestones is to participate in educational tours. During his first grade at JVCMSI, hubby and I joined him on this fun-filled learning experience.

Enjoying good times, doing playful actions, and feeling very excited and enthusiastic over each ride at Enchanted Kingdom, we know that this has been a priceless experience.

November 28, 2014 @ 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
JVCMSI Educational Tour Itinerary:
Intramuros, Manila and Fort Santiago
Luneta (Martyrdom of Dr Jose Rizal)
Blue Wave
Nuvali
Enchanted Kingdom

Field trips like this can always be fun and entertaining, such a great learning opportunity for everyone.

Activities like this give students educational experiences away from their regular school environment, a good way to break monotony and routines. Kids can look forward to and prepare for the trip for several days or weeks. Then, they get to spend the day in a different learning environment and can complete a lesson on the topic covered after the trip is over. Learning in different ways can appeal to varied learning styles, helping children to succeed whether they are visual, auditory or kinetic learners.

Students visiting different educational facilities learn in a more hands-on and interactive manner than they do in school. And when done 'right', field trips can be a powerful component of a well-rounded instructional program.

Just keep in mind that safety of everyone, especially the students, is strictly observed; itineraries are relevant and educational, most of all, objectives are met.

To sum it up, everybody had so much fun, a perfect time to bond with families, friends and all.

xoxo,

Mommy Mai

God Gave Me You... And Forever I'd be so Grateful to God

God Gave Me You – Bryan White
... I truly believe
God gave me you to show me what’s real
There’s more to life than just how I feel
And all that I’m worth is right before my eyes
And all that I live for though I didn’t know why... Now I do, ’cause God gave me you...

Daddy Ren and Eieo...
I thank God for blessing me with great family and relationships, more than what I really deserve.

I am not even sure yet if I can forever be a good mom and a loving wife BUT I know God will always help and guide me to be that 'someone' HE intends me to be.

What a Mom and a Dad Pray on their Kid's First Steps in Schooling
Now that Eieo is on his first year at school, I hope and pray that God will continuously bless us along with his new soon-to-be academic turf, LGIM - Lipfert Guillen International Montessori, Inc., his new teachers and friends... so our kiddo will experience God's love and grace all his life even in many lil ways.

To our school partners now and in the future, we pray that we can work hand-in-hand for the betterment of our unico hijo's future. Excited and prayerful, we hope that our first steps to this journey with LGIM can be a good start (fingers crossed). May God bless our kid/s (Eieo and Eiea - soon?) as we only wish the best for their future.

To GOD be the Glory Now and Forever!

Dad and Eieo I love you, my two boys!

Love Lots and Cheers,

Mommy Mai

Parenting 101

This is how we make our sweet little EIEO, next and closer to perfection.

Parenting is a tough job and raising our kids is really challenging. With this, hubby and I believe that it is indeed a very noble profession, a lifetime commitment… and of course, a continuous learning process. Our “first-time” experiences are our teachers. And with this, I keep on reading lots of books and posts on responsible and effective parenting. In this post, I would share some nice quotes and even some practical tips that Rainier and I religiously do to our little prince, Eieo. Hope you’ll enjoy and learn from these, too. Happy reading!
